About the Role 

As Traffic & Road Licensing Manager, you will be responsible for managing road licensing, stakeholder engagement, and reinstatement works to ensure full compliance with contractual requirements while maintaining strong communication with all key parties. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Establish dialogue and build strong and genuine relationships with all necessary stakeholders 
  • Review contract documentation and determine all traffic & road licensing deliverables and ensure they are met 
  • Manage all Road Opening Licence applications and all associated compliance 
  • Work closely with the customer care manager regarding notifications, road closures etc. 
  • Manage reinstatement teams and liaise with them daily 
  • Programme reinstatement works to meet KPI requirements 
  • Carry out site visits, inspection and audit reports relating to the performance of the reinstatement teams to ensure procedures are aligned with the client’s requirements 
  • Liaise and effectively communicate with government and regulatory bodies to ensure good working relations and continued compliance 
  • Prepare all relevant documentation for the monthly management meetings 
  • Manage and support team members in a fast paced environment

  • Experience working in a similar role. 
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills 
  • Confident and self-motivated, with the ability to manage and develop team members 
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines 
  • A client-focused approach with strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities 
  • Full clean driver’s licence 
  • Relevant academic or technical qualification
