Transport Planner

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Transport Planner to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in planning and managing transport systems for both public and private development projects. You will collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and sustainable transport solutions.

Responsibilities: 

• Develop and deliver transport strategies for public and private development projects.Prepare transport assessments, travel plans, and feasibility studies.
• Analyze traffic flow, demand forecasting, and transport modeling using specialized software.Evaluate the impact of proposed developments on local and regional transport networks.
• Liaise with local authorities, developers, and the public to gather insights and feedback.Present proposals and findings to clients and stakeholders effectively.
• Promote sustainable transport solutions, including walking, cycling, and public transit.Integrate environmental considerations into transport planning projects.
• Ensure projects comply with relevant policies, regulations, and guidelines.Produce high-quality reports and documentation to support planning applications.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Geography, or a related field.Professional certification (e.g., CIHT, CILT) is an advantage.
• Demonstrated experience in transport planning for development projects.Familiarity with public and private sector planning processes.
• Proficiency in transport modeling and GIS software (e.g., TRICS, PTV VISSIM, ArcGIS).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of current transportation policies and trends.A valid driver’s license may be required.
