Access Talent Group have partnered with an international Civil Engineering design consultancy that specialise in Geotechnical and Structural Engineering across the infrastructure and built environment sector. Our client is currently undergoing a growth spurt, fuelled by continued success in European and Australasian markets. Due tot his success, our client is looking for two Associate Level Geotechnical Engineers to support the technical and operational running of their team. Our client offers a multicultural office and project experience, boasting an international team to work on global assignments.

As an Associate Geotechnical Engineer, you will be a bridge (pardon the partial pun) between the team of Directors and the more junior staff. Acting as a team lead, you will be expected to motivate, mentor develop the Engineers around you, while acting as a Technical lead and authority. Given the diversity our clients team and project, much of your time will be spent collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams across mixed use, commercial, urban, buildings and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will also have the ability to undertake project cost control and compliances processes, as well as contribute from time to time on operational and business development tasks. Candidates must have:

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent, with a focus in Geotechnical Engineering
     
  • Minimum 8-10 years industry experience
     
  • Proven project management skills (achieving prescribed budget, timeframe and client requirements)
     
  • An understanding of the business/organisation/marketing context of business solutions.
     
  • Well-developed consulting skills
     
  • Ability to manage client relationships and expectations
     
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively within a diverse and multi-disciplinary environment
     
  • Chartered Member of the ICE or the Geotechnical Society or equivalent
