Our client is looking to appoint a Project Structural Engineer who is motivated, technically strong and eager to develop within a busy design consultancy.
In this role you will contribute to the design and delivery of structural engineering projects from concept stage through to completion. The successful candidate will support the preparation of structural calculations, drawings and technical reports while working alongside experienced engineers to ensure projects are delivered to a high standard.
This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to multiple project sectors and further develop technical expertise within a collaborative engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Structural design and analysis in accordance with Eurocodes and relevant engineering standards
• Supporting the delivery of projects from initial concept through to completion
• Preparation of structural calculations, reports and drawings
• Working closely with architects, contractors and multidisciplinary project teams
• Supporting senior engineers in delivering structural design solutions
• Ensuring projects are delivered to agreed deadlines and quality standards
Candidate Requirements
• Degree qualified in Structural Engineering or a related discipline
• Minimum 2 years’ experience within a structural engineering consultancy
• Experience designing structures in accordance with Eurocodes
• Ability to assist in managing projects from inception to completion
• Self motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Experience
• Strong technical report writing skills and attention to detail
• Experience working within multidisciplinary project teams
• Good working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit and Microsoft Office
