Ecologist

Ireland's premier civil, structural, and engineering consultancy is seeking an Ecologist to join their esteemed team of technical experts. As a multidisciplinary firm, our client is dedicated to shaping a low-carbon future while fostering a workplace culture that promotes growth, flexibility, and creativity.

Your responsibilities will include the following: you'll be responsible for field surveys, technical reporting (Ecological Impact Assessments, Appropriate Assessments), stakeholder consultation, and overseeing mitigation measures and ecological enhancements.

Requirements:

• Degree in ecology or related field (Level 8 qualification or equivalent)
• 2-5 years' experience in ecological/planning consultancy
• CIEEM membership or equivalent
• Familiarity with relevant Irish and European legislation
• Experience in preparing environmental reports
• Excellent field survey skills and strong report writing and communication skills
• Client-focused with strong work ethic
• Full clean driving licence
