Fire Inspector

Our client, a leading fire engineering consultancy, is seeking an On-Site Fire Inspector to join their team. This role involves working closely with Project Managers, ensuring that fire safety regulations and standards are met across a range of projects. You’ll be responsible for inspection plans, detailed site reports, and issuing fire safety certificates, making a tangible impact on building safety.

They key responsibilites for this role includes:

• Carry out on-site fire safety inspections in accordance with industry regulations
• Develop and implement inspection plans to assess fire compliance
• Issue detailed site reports outlining findings and required actions
• Assist in the process of granting Fire Safety Certificates and Access Certificates
• Work closely with Project Managers, contractors, and site teams to ensure compliance with fire safety standards

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• 3+ years of construction-based experience, ideally as a Site Engineer, Site Manager, or Resident Engineer
• Strong knowledge of building regulations and fire safety standards
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce clear, structured reports.Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with project teams
• A relevant qualification in construction, engineering, or fire safety is desirable
