Graduate Mechanical Engineer

Access Talent Group are working with one of Ireland’s largest Main Contractors who are looking to grow their team by bringing a Junior Mechanical Engineer into their Dublin office and sites.

The types of projects you will be working on vary in size and value, with a mix of Irish and international projects across a number of sectors from commercial to sports to museums & conservation projects. 

This position is a permanent role, so job security is guaranteed! This role is available for an immediate start. You will be embedded into the team straight away and will be able to get stuck into your work from the get-go.  

The successful candidate will have experience in an Mechanical Engineering role, within a Main Contractor Setting. You will also be a people-person, able to communicate effectively, and work well both independently and within a team.  

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and development of mechanical systems and components
• Conduct engineering calculations and analysis
• Prepare technical reports and documentation
• Collaborate with the engineering team to solve complex technical problems
• Participate in project meetings and provide input on engineering solutions
• Adhere to industry regulations and safety standards
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and innovation projects

Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices
• Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
• Keen interest in industrial engineering and willingness to learn and grow in the field
