Are you looking to kickstart your career in transport planning with a consultancy that values your growth and development? Our client, a well-established specialist transport consultancy, is seeking a motivated Graduate Transport Planner to join their close-knit team in Cambridge.

What you’ll be doing - 

  • Supporting the preparation of transport assessments, travel plans, and feasibility studies
  • Collecting, analysing, and interpreting traffic and transport data
  • Assisting with modelling work and use of industry-standard software
  • Contributing to the design and delivery of sustainable transport solutions
  • Preparing technical reports and presentations for clients and local authorities
  • Collaborating with colleagues across planning, engineering, and environmental teams

What we’re looking for -

  • A recent or upcoming graduate in Transport Planning, Geography, Civil Engineering, Environmental Studies, or a related discipline
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with confidence working with data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a consultancy environment
  • Knowledge of transport planning principles and software (e.g., TRICS, Junctions, or GIS) would be advantageous, but full training will be provided
