Our client is an SME Environmental consultancy approaching their 50th anniversary of providing specialist consultancy services to the civil and environmental sectors. Our client punches well above their weight, covering Hydrogeology, Geotechnical/Ground Engineering Services, Environmental Permitting, Geotechnical Design and EIA – they utilise their experience across all these areas to then design remediation and control measures to ensure absolutely minimal environmental impact during their customers’ projects.

Our client provides all consultants with opportunities to be involved with all aspects of the project works from the preparation of desk based studies, field monitoring, planning and supervising site investigation works to the preparation of reports including detailed quantitative risk assessment, hydrogeological models and the implementation of remediation solutions.

Successful candidates will be working in the geology and hydrogeology department involved in a range of projects in the mineral and waste sector, the assessment of the impacts of land development on water resources and water quality, the investigation and assessment of risks arising from environmental incidents and contaminated land, together with providing technical support to the environmental planning and permitting departments.

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • Geology or Hydrogeology Degree – BSc or MSc

  • 3+ Years’ experience in field

  • A full UK Driving Licence

  • The right to live and work in the UK

  • A demonstrable history of report writing

This is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to work in a more interpersonal environment with a business who truly care about personal development.
