Are you a driven and detail-oriented graduate or early-career professional with a passion for construction and cost management? We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading client in the Modular Buildings sector who is looking to expand their commercial team with a Junior Quantity Surveyor.
About the Client:
Our client is a forward-thinking specialist in modular construction, delivering high-quality, sustainable building solutions across education, healthcare, residential and commercial sectors. With continued growth and a robust pipeline of exciting projects, they are looking to bring on board a proactive Junior QS to support their commercial operations from pre-construction through to final account.
The Role:
As a Junior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll be working alongside experienced QS professionals, supporting the cost planning, procurement, contract administration and financial management of modular build projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, tender documents, and procurement schedules
- Monitor project costs and progress
- Support contract administration, including valuations, variations and final accounts
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams
- Ensure compliance with project budgets and timelines
About You:
We’re looking for someone who is eager to learn, collaborative, and ready to grow within the modular construction sector.
Requirements:
- A degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related field
- 0–2 years of relevant experience (placement/internship experience welcomed)
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- A keen interest in modular/offsite construction methods
