Junior Quantity Surveyor

Our client is a well-established specialist contractor delivering high-quality building projects across Ireland, from commercial and residential developments to complex public sector schemes. With a strong focus on quality, collaboration, and innovation, they are looking to grow their commercial team by welcoming a Junior Quantity Surveyor who is eager to develop their career in construction.

The Role
As a Junior Quantity Surveyor, you will support senior commercial staff in managing the financial aspects of building projects. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in cost management, procurement, and contract administration within a supportive and learning-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with preparation of bills of quantities and cost plans
• Support in valuations, variations, and monthly reporting
• Help monitor project budgets and expenditure
• Assist in procurement and tendering processes
• Maintain accurate project records and documentation
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
• Some work experience in construction or building projects is advantageous but not essential
• Good knowledge of construction processes and contracts
• Strong numeracy, organisation, and communication skills
• Motivated, proactive, and eager to learn
