Our client is a thriving SME Engineering Consultancy specializing in both onshore and nearshore engineering projects. With offices in London and Leeds, their team of around 80 engineers is dedicated to delivering innovative and cost-effective solutions for a diverse range of clients. The London office is at the center of their operations, offering an exciting and collaborative environment to contribute to impactful engineering projects.

As a Piling Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and analysing piling systems for a variety of projects, including wall/sheet piles and bearing piles. Your role will involve preparing technical reports, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver efficient and safe designs. Experience with temporary works is highly advantageous, as you will occasionally contribute to related design tasks.

Key Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
     
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in piling design, with a focus on wall/sheet piles and bearing piles.
     
  • Proficiency in relevant design software and geotechnical analysis tools.
     
  • Familiarity with temporary works design is an added advantage.
     
  • Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices.
     
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
