They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Principal Geoenvironmental Engineer to join their Surrey office. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading and managing a range of geoenvironmental projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Your duties will include overseeing project teams, managing client relationships, providing technical guidance, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. You will also play a crucial role in mentoring and developing junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.

Qualifications Needed:

  • Extensive experience in geoenvironmental engineering, preferably within a consultancy environment.
     
  • Proven project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
     
  • Strong leadership abilities, with experience in managing and mentoring teams.
     
  • In-depth knowledge of British Standards and relevant industry regulations, particularly in environmental and contaminated land assessments.
     
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
     
  • Chartered status with a recognized professional body (e.g., GeoSoc, ICE) is essential
     
  • A degree in Environmental Engineering, Geoenvironmental Engineering, or a related field.
