Project Engineer

Access Talent Group is partnering with a globally renowned design consultancy that’s currently seeking a Project Engineer to join its expanding Galway-based team.

This consultancy is a leader in innovative infrastructure delivery, with a strong focus on both building and infrastructure projects. The position presents a fantastic opportunity to work on high-impact developments and contribute to the creation of sustainable and efficient urban environments.

As a Project Engineer, your responsibilities will include leading and supporting the design and development of infrastructure and building projects, preparing and reviewing planning submissions, tender documentation, and construction packages. You'll also carry out feasibility studies, risk assessments, and infrastructure impact evaluations, while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• Proven experience working on building or infrastructure projects in the Irish or UK market
• Strong technical skills in infrastructure design, including drainage, utilities, and structural elements
• Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail
• Knowledge of Eurocodes, Irish standards, and relevant engineering software is an advantage
