Our client, a well-established medium-sized main contractor, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of a new school project.

The Role
The successful candidate will take full responsibility for managing the project from inception through to completion, ensuring it is delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day management of the project.
- Coordinate site teams, subcontractors and design consultants.
- Ensure programme, quality and commercial objectives are achieved.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- Drive health & safety standards and ensure full compliance on site.
- Chair progress meetings and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Identify and resolve technical and operational issues throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Degree qualified in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager with a main contractor.
- Previous experience delivering education, commercial or public sector projects is advantageous.
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Excellent understanding of construction methodologies, programming and project delivery.
