The Role

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a critical role in the delivery of projects from inception to completion. You’ll work closely with the development and construction teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing cost estimates and budgets for new developments.
  • Managing tendering processes and procurement of contractors.
  • Monitoring project costs, identifying potential risks, and implementing cost-saving measures.
  • Overseeing valuations, payments, and variations.
  • Ensuring compliance with contracts and legal requirements.
  • Preparing final accounts and project reports.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within property development or residential projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts (e.g., JCT, NEC).
  • Exceptional financial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
  • Membership with RICS or working towards chartered status (preferred).
