Are you a talented Quantity Surveyor ready to take the next step in your career? We’re working with a dynamic and well-established construction company that specialises in both residential and commercial projects, and they’re looking for someone like you to join their growing team.
About the Client:
Our client is a reputable construction firm with a strong track record across new-build, refurbishment, and mixed-use developments. They pride themselves on delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget, while fostering a collaborative and progressive working environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Managing all cost-related aspects of residential and commercial construction projects
- Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities
- Performing risk and value management and cost control
- Monitoring project budgets and ensuring accurate forecasting
- Liaising with clients, contractors, and subcontractors
- Preparing and analyzing costings for tenders
- Managing valuations, variations, and final accounts
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally in residential/commercial projects
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., JCT, NEC)
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities
- Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or similar field
- MRICS qualification (desirable but not essential)
