Senior Facade Engineer

ATG are looking for an experienced Senior Facade Engineer to join a dynamic team, specializing in precast concrete solutions. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, engineering, and delivery of high-quality facade systems across various projects in the UK and Ireland.

This position requires strong technical expertise, leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of precast concrete systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and engineering of precast concrete facades, ensuring structural integrity, aesthetics, and performance.
• Collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop innovative facade solutions that meet project specifications.
• Conduct detailed structural analysis, thermal modeling, and material assessments to optimize facade performance.
• Ensure compliance with Irish and European building regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Oversee project management tasks, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and quality control.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design teams.
• Coordinate with manufacturing teams to ensure the accurate production and installation of facade elements.
• Review and approve detailed design drawings, calculations, and specifications.
• Manage client relationships, presenting design proposals and progress reports.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely and on-budget project delivery.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in facade engineering, with a strong focus on precast concrete systems.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other BIM tools.In-depth knowledge of Irish and European building regulations and standards.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale facade projects from concept to completion.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
