In this Senior Geotechnical Engineer role, you will be responsible for overseeing geotechnical investigations and providing expert advice on foundations, slopes, retaining structures, and more. You will lead the design and analysis processes, ensuring that projects meet the required standards while also mentoring junior staff and collaborating closely with multi-disciplinary teams. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of both temporary and permanent works, liaising with stakeholders and ensuring the highest level of technical accuracy.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Geotechnical Engineering, or related discipline
- Chartered Engineer status (or on the pathway to becoming chartered)
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience
- Proficiency with industry software, such as PLAXIS or GeoStudio
- Strong knowledge of UK geotechnical regulations and standards
- Experience with both temporary and permanent works design is a distinct advantage
