Our client is a British design engineering consultancy specialising in maritime and nearshore structures, with a strong technical reputation in the delivery of complex ground and marine-related engineering solutions. Based in London, they work on a diverse portfolio of projects both in the UK and internationally, supporting major infrastructure and coastal developments. With continued growth in their project workload, they are now looking to appoint two Geotechnical Engineers to strengthen their London-based team.
In this role, you will provide geotechnical design and modelling support across a wide range of projects, including buildings and infrastructure schemes, with exposure to maritime and nearshore applications where required. You will be responsible for developing geotechnical analyses, supporting design development, and contributing to technical reporting, while also having the opportunity to attend site visits and support construction activities. This position offers significant travel opportunities, with site work across London, the wider UK, and internationally, including projects in South America and the Middle East.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
- Chartered Geotechnical Engineer or approaching chartership
- Strong geotechnical design and modelling experience within buildings or infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in geotechnical analysis and design software; PLAXIS experience highly desirable.
- Experience producing technical calculations and interpretative reports.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary consultancy environment
- Willingness to undertake site travel in the UK and internationally.
