Access have partnered with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and planning design consultants who are expanding their senior Geotechnical Engineering team across their UK offices. After continued success and contract awards, our client is searching for Senior, Principal and Associate level Geotechnical Engineers who have a broad Ground Engineering and Design discipline background. Our client has extensive experience across all sectors in the built and natural environments and are a trusted consultancy throughout the UK and global markets. Our Client, a British SME consultancy, are looking to add 20-30 heads to the business through 2024 and have offices across the South Coast, West Country and Southern Wales. 

Our client expects the successful applicant to take a lead in company design meetings and manage their own projects in an autonomous manner. With teams covering multiple sectors, our client is seeking an engineer who can also provide technical management and oversight of more junior colleagues and provide insight to external and internal stakeholders. The perfect engineer will be proficient in making solid contractual and commercial decisions and thrive in assisting the bidding and tendering processes. 

The perfect candidate must have: 

  • 5-15 years expereince
     
  • Achieved Chartered Engineer Status (or working towards)
     
  • The ability to work in either Bristol, Cardiff, Hampshire or Plymouth 
     
  • The right to live and work in the UK.
     
  • Competent in the design of foundations, retaining walls and basements
