The Role

As a Senior Project Manager within the transportation team, you will be responsible for:

 

Leading the delivery of multi-disciplinary transportation and infrastructure projects

Acting as Project Manager or Package Manager on complex schemes

Full ownership of contract and commercial management

Managing the design process from concept through to detailed design

Coordinating and leading multi-disciplinary design teams

Line management, mentoring and development of junior and mid-level staff

Leading and contributing to tender submissions and bid proposals

Supporting business development and maintaining strong client relationships

Working collaboratively with colleagues, delivery partners and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes

 

Requirements

Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline (Level 8 or Level 9)

Minimum of 10 years post-graduate experience, primarily within a consultancy environment

Chartered Engineer status with a recognised professional body

Strong experience delivering multi-disciplinary transportation or infrastructure projects in Ireland and or the UK

Proven experience across all stages of the project life cycle

Demonstrated ability to manage and lead multi-disciplinary design teams

Strong communication and leadership skills

Full driving licence

 

Desirable Attributes

Experience operating at Senior Project Manager, Associate or equivalent level

Strong commercial awareness and confidence managing project finances

Ability to challenge established approaches and drive continuous improvement

Interest in emerging technologies and best practice within transportation and infrastructure

Ability to develop and maintain long-term client relationships

Collaborative, organised and self-motivated working style
