Role Summary

An expanding engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Structural Engineer to support the delivery of building projects from concept through to construction. This role suits an engineer with solid design experience who is ready to take ownership of elements of projects while continuing to develop technically and professionally.

 

Key Responsibilities

Structural design of reinforced concrete, steel, timber and masonry elements

Preparation and checking of calculations, drawings and specifications

Coordination with architects, civil engineers and MEP consultants

Support construction-stage activities including RFIs and site inspections

Assist in mentoring junior engineers

Deliver work to agreed deadlines and quality standards

 

Requirements

Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

Typically 3–6 years experience in a structural consultancy

Strong working knowledge of Eurocodes and Irish standards

Experience delivering projects in Ireland

Proficiency in structural analysis software

Revit and BIM experience preferred
