Structural Steel Detailer

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with engineers and architects to interpret design specifications and create detailed steel fabrication drawings.
• Utilize CAD software to produce accurate shop drawings, erection plans, and material lists.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations throughout the detailing process.
• Coordinate with production teams to facilitate seamless fabrication and assembly processes.
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback and project requirements.
• Maintain organized documentation and project files for reference and future use.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Structural Steel Detailer or similar role within the steel fabrication industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant CAD software.
• Strong knowledge of structural steel design principles, techniques, and materials.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as AISC, AWS, and OSHA regulations.

Education & Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
• Certification in structural detailing or CAD drafting is a plus.
