Your New Role
We are seeking a motivated and visionary Associate Director or Technical Director to join our London Transport Planning team. This leadership role offers the opportunity to influence major transport initiatives and grow our presence within the public sector—especially across London and the local authority market.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with senior leaders locally and nationally to drive growth and expand WSP’s market share.
- Lead business development initiatives—focusing on innovation, identifying market trends, and enhancing value for clients.
- Prepare compelling bids, fee proposals, and project delivery programmes.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
- Oversee a broad portfolio of transport planning projects—from strategy and feasibility to funding bids and concept design.
- Manage project teams, budgets, schedules, and ensure technical excellence.
- Represent WSP at technical forums, both internally and externally, sharing insights and showcasing our expertise.
- Support the firm’s strategic pillars: People, Clients & Growth, Operations, and Technical Excellence.
- Mentor and develop early-career professionals within the team.
What We’re Looking For
