  • Analyse transport and travel demand data, including traffic counts, surveys, and GPS/mobile datasets.
  • Prepare forecasts and scenario tests to evaluate the performance of proposed schemes or policies.
  • Contribute to business cases, appraisal reports, and technical documentation for clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines (planning, engineering, environmental) to provide integrated solutions.
  • Support the development of innovative modelling techniques, automation tools, and data visualisation approaches.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders, presenting findings in a clear and compelling way.

About You

  • Degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Mathematics, Geography, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in transport modelling and appraisal, with practical knowledge of one or more modelling platforms (e.g. SATURN, VISUM, CUBE, EMME, VISSIM, Aimsun).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Python, R, GIS).
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • [Optional: Membership or working towards membership of a relevant professional body (CIHT, TPS, ICE, etc.)].
