They are looking for Transport Planners of all grades, from Graduate +2 years’ experience through to Director level. This job description is generalist; responsibilities and expectations will vary depending on your experience, and we will discuss the specifics for your level.
What the Role Involves:
- Preparing Transport Statements, Transport Assessments, and other planning documents.
- Analysing transport data, trip generation, and traffic impacts.
- Liaising with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders to deliver practical transport solutions.
- Working across all stages of development projects, from feasibility to planning approvals.
- Contributing to business growth and mentoring junior staff (for mid/senior roles).
What You’ll Bring:
- Degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in transport planning (graduate through senior level).
- Knowledge of transport assessment guidance (NPPF, IANs, TA/TS).
- Familiarity with traffic modelling software is a plus (VISSIM, VISUM, LinSig, TRICS).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- A proactive, collaborative approach and passion for delivering high-quality solutions.
